Meet Adora, a joyful and affectionate Bulldog mix with a heart just as big as her smile. At 3 years old and just over 60 pounds, Adora is a sturdy, happy girl who truly lives up to her name. She came to rescue after being abandoned when her owner moved away, but she hasn’t let that past take away from her loving, people-focused personality.
Bulldog mixes are well known for their loyalty, affectionate nature, and love of being around their people, and Adora is a wonderful example of these traits. She is a super happy girl who thrives on attention and companionship. With her medium energy level, she can fit into a variety of homes, whether that’s an apartment with consistent exercise or a home with or without a yard where she can enjoy daily activity.
Adora does well with other dogs when introductions are done properly and tends to do best with respectful, non-confrontational dogs. If another dog growls or provokes her, she may react, so thoughtful introductions and a calm canine companion are important. She also does well with kids and enjoys being part of a family environment.
She is very treat motivated and eager to engage with her people, which will be helpful as she continues building her leash skills. Right now she can pull when excited, and being a strong girl, she will benefit from continued leash training along with patience and consistency. With structure and positive guidance, she has the potential to become a wonderful walking companion.
Adora can live comfortably in a single-story or multi-story home and simply needs time to learn stairs if there are several steps. Whether she has a yard to enjoy or gets regular walks and exercise, she will thrive with an active routine and a family that includes her in their daily life.
Spayed and ready for her forever home, Adora is looking for a family willing to continue her training and provide the consistency every dog deserves. In return, she will reward her family with loyalty, affection, and the kind of joyful companionship that makes every day brighter.
