Meet Shania — a joyful 8-month-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging.

We rescued this sweet soul from a high-kill shelter in Eagle Pass after she was left behind, but you'd never know it from her sunny personality. At just under 29 lbs, she’s the perfect size for all the fun without taking up too much space on your couch (though she'll happily try!). Shania absolutely adores everyone she meets — kids, cats, dogs — she’s never met a stranger.

She thrives on playtime, from zooming around the yard, leaping through kiddie pools, to proudly showing off her toy collection. Her playful, wiggly nature brings constant smiles and endless laughter to everyone around her.

Because of her young age and bouncy puppy energy, Shania would do best in a home with space to run and play — not an apartment or condo. She's looking for a family who will embrace her zest for life and give her the happy, active future she was always meant to have.
